COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A favorite downtown Columbus tradition is back in business.
The Pearl Market opened its 29th season Friday.
The open-air farmers market happens every year from May to October on Pearl Alley at Gay Street in downtown Columbus.
2020年欧预赛赛程You'll find everything from local produce, to baked goods, housewares and art.
2020年欧预赛赛程This year, there are changes due to COVID-19, including sanitation stations and sadly, fewer vendors than years past.
"Unfortunately, COVID has affected some of our small business people to the point they have gone out of business and they're not able to participate this year," said manager Sam Sharkey. "So we are sad about that. We're sad for the farmers we won't see this year too, but for those that are here, it's a really wonderful way for us to start to interact with the public again, and just get people the food they need in these times in an extra safe way that supports the local economy."
One new feature this year: the option to order online and just drive up to pick up your purchase.
The Pearl Market runs every Tuesday and Friday from 10:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.
