Oklahoma woman shot while trying to steal Nazi flag from man's yard

Feaster is being held on charges of shooting with the intent to kill, assault and battery with a deadly weapon.

HUNTER, Okla — A 26-year-old woman was shot multiple times after she tried to steal a Swastika flag from a front yard in Oklahoma.

Authorities said the woman was dared at a party across the street to try and steal one of the Nazi flags the front yard of Alexander John Feaster’s front yard in Hunter.

"On the way back someone hollered gun, she dropped the flag at the end of the driveway and shots were fired,” Garfield County Sheriff Jody Helm said.

A neighbor, who did not want to be identified, said they were woken up by the sound of gunshots.

2020年欧预赛赛程"Started trying to figure out what was going on wasn’t 100% sure if it was fireworks or gunshots, and figured out pretty quick it was gunshots,” they said.

2020年欧预赛赛程Feaster was taken into custody from his home with no incident, immediately asking for a lawyer. Deputies got a search warrant for his home.

"We recovered the suspect's rifle and about total we got about fourteen guns out of there and some ammunition,” Helm said.

Neighbors said Feaster has flown the flags for about a year now.

2020年欧预赛赛程"It's never really been a problem. His flags got stolen a couple times when he first put them up, but nothing ever came of it. This is the first time it's ever came to violence. He's been out mowing neighbors’ yards and just smiling and waving at everyone."

Feaster is being held on charges of shooting with the intent to kill, assault and battery with a deadly weapon.

As for the woman who was shot, the district attorney is still deciding on whether to charge her. There is no word on her current condition.
